Places I want to visit in Oahu
Nanea lives on Oahu with her family. Known as "The Gathering Place" it is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands. It is home to about two-thirds of the population of the U.S. state of Hawaii. The state capital, Honolulu, is on Oahu's southeast coast. I was browsing all the wonderful places there are to visit on Oahu.
I thought that this was just a small beach but it is a huge are with beaches, hotels, restaurants and lots of surfing on the water. There is so much to do and see here! I just want to go to the beach and watch the surfers.
I want to visit the pineapple plantation and museum, ride the train, eat dole whip (ice cream) and shop for cute things!
This looks amazing. A full day of learning about different island peoples from places like New Zealand, Tonga and Tahiti (and more!). There is also a luau where we eat fancy local food and watch beautiful hula dancers and more.
The little town looks so beautiful with cute shops, beautiful beaches and shave ice! (Can't wait to try that treat!! Yummy!)
The biggest museum all about Hawaii in Oahu. Lots and lots of history and exhibits.
The Royal Palace where the monarchs like, King Kalakaua and Queen Liliuokalani lived.
An ethereal Japanese temple, immaculate zen landscaping, a palm-lined drive, memorial gazebos overlooking the Pacific and a Koolau mountain backdrop conspire to create one of Oahu’s most peaceful settings.
Pearl Harbor
After reading Nanea's stories we have to go visit the Arizona memorial and take a tour of Pearl Harbor to see what happened in 1941.
